About the Experience

Prepare for a thrilling plunge into the wonders of Beneath The Bay, where qualified SCUBA divers can encounter the ocean's most incredible creatures. With a minimum group size of 6 people, you'll embark on a single breathtaking dive, guided by one of our qualified PADI Dive Masters. Get ready for an awe-inspiring underwater journey, where you'll come face to fin with both great and small marine life. Explore untouched reefs teeming with an array of soft corals, sea sponges and nudibranches, revealing a world bursting with natural beauty and wonder.

Duration: 2-3 hours




Availability: Minimum of 6 divers required. All year round.




What to expect:





• Meet at Hanging Rock Boat Ramp, Batemans Bay. Look for the Beneath The Bay Vessel at allocated time.


• Board the Beneath The Bay Vessel.


• 10-15 minute pre-dive briefing session.


• 10-15 minute boat ride to location. Please note that there are a number of sites that we may visit on the day, all depending on weather. Sites may include - Tollgate Islands, Black Rock, Burrewarra “Burri” Point and several other dive sites.


• Your dive will be approximately 45 minutes.


• Jump back on the boat for a refreshment and head back to the boat ramp

• Minimum 6 people per dive to allow the tour to operate.


• Maximum 11 people


• Must complete the PADI Waiver



• Must advise of any medical conditions


• Must be a competent swimmer and have scuba dived previously (within the last 2 years)

• We offer “Refresher courses”


• Must not suffer from epilepsy, asthma or heart conditions.


• Must be a qualified SCUBA diver and be able to produce your PADI Open-water (or equivalent) certification. If not a qualified SCUBA diver, please instead purchase a Snorkel Experience.


• This is a fully guided dive and participants must follow the instruction of the Divemaster.
